CPX Testing.
- a comprehensive and objective medical assessment of fitness.

Fit for Surgery.

Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing, ( CPX testing ) measures the cardio respiratory risk during and following surgery. It has also been used for many years to individually quantify athletic performance, from beginner level to the elite.

CPX testing is ideal for...

Patients scheduled for major surgery
For patients undergoing surgery, the performance of the heart and lungs is crucial. CPX testing,
( Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing), is used by a number of NHS and private medical teams as a tool to identify high risk patients,
before surgery. When high risk patients are identified, medical teams can administer specialist pre-operative treatment in order to minimise the risk of cardiac and pulmonary complications.

Rehabilitation
CPX measures cardiopulmonary fitness and your CPX fitness results can be incorporated into an exercise regime specifically for weight loss. CPX also identifies precise heart rate zones for exercise, which can help target training goals and define fitness training programmes.
